London Lift Consultants
LCG Lift Consultancy offers a range of services, including design, new installations, modernisation, condition reports and lift maintenance.
The Problem
LCG Lift Consultancy were referred to Sybiltec Web Design, as their previous website's design was outdated, difficult to navigate by users, and not mobile friendly. The website was custom-coded and a web developer was required whenever changes needed to be made.
Homepage Redesign
Sybiltec Web Design was commissioned to redesign the website and build a new site on WordPress. We kept the blue of the company's logo and used it as the primary colour throughout the new site.
The homepage retained a similar structure and we maintained the original copy, however, the hero section was updated with new images to showcase recent projects. The layout of the Services section was rearranged to form an alternating pattern.
We improved the design of the CTA by adding a dark overlay above the London skyline image to increase visibility of the text and added the “Access CIMS” button to add prominence to the CIMS Login.
Lastly, we added a contact form at the bottom of every page to help prospective customers make enquiries with ease.

Other Improvements
We consolidated the team member pages into one “About” page. We also improved the menu with a sticky header so that users can easily navigate from one page to another.

GDPR Requirements
We ensured that the website complied with the requirements of the GDPR by installing the Cookiebot CMP (consent management platform) to allow website visitors to manage their cookie preferences, and by including the relevant policies (privacy notice and cookie policy).
